SkatePal x Habibis ‘Gazelle’ Socks
Habibis are a skateboarding collective based in Edinburgh, founded by Jamal Abdul-Jabbar. Across skate edits and clothing, their aesthetic incorporates elements drawn from Jamal’s Iraqi heritage.
This capsule brings together the Lion of Babylon with the national animal of Palestine – the mountain gazelle. One known for power and ferocity, the other known for agility and grace. The harmony between these qualities is something we love to see on a skateboard.
