FAQs

I'd like to donate some cash. Where does my money go?

All the money we make goes straight back into supporting the skate-scene in Palestine and keeping SkatePal running. This includes building and repair costs for our skateparks, purchasing skateboards and safety equipment for our lessons, and the general day to day running of the charity. For more information head over to our donate page.

Are you looking for more volunteers?

Yes, (usually!). Due to COVID-19 our volunteer programs are currently on hold. For up to date information please head over to our volunteer page.

Please note, to be considered for a volunteer placement you must be 18 or older.

I’d like to get involved but I can’t volunteer. What can I do?

If you want to support our work, hosting a fundraiser is a great way to do it!

Whether you’d like to host a skate jam, bake sale, make jewellery or run an online campaign, helping us raise funds allows us to continue our work in Palestine.

Head over to our donate page to find out more.

Is SkatePal a political organisation?

No, SkatePal stays clear of politics and focuses on promoting skateboarding.

Is there an age restriction for your classes?

No! There is no minimum or maximum age for skateboarding!

Does SkatePal work in Gaza?

At the moment SkatePal is only working in the West Bank. You can get in touch with Team Skate Gaza to find out more about their local scene.

I have some equipment I want to donate, where can I send it to?

Please email us and depending where you are based we'll discuss the best option for you.

What are the goals of SkatePal?

The aim of SkatePal is to create a self-sustainable skateboard scene in Palestine, that does not rely on international help.
